Ward Partaaay

Last night my ward had a combined Halloween party with the other ward in my apartment complex. It was in our underground parking garage and it turned out to be really fun! I went with my room mates and Steph. Two of my favorite costumes were Paulie Bleeker from Juno and a transformer (see pictures below). I dressed up as a punk rocker, Steph was goin for a Cindy Lauper 80's look, Annie was a greek goddess, Lauren was a ballerina and Nichelle was a computer nerd.

I have been Tagged so here are 2-7 random facts about me :)

1. I am a lover of music!! I could not live without it. I love driving in my car and putting the ipod on shuffle. I can always find a random song that I haven't heard in forever or find a song that fits what mood I'm in. There is nothing like going for a drive and singing along to your favorite bands. Sometimes I do that just to escape and clear my head and it always works. Along with singing I love to play the piano and I am working on playing the guitar. Another thing I love is going to concerts. I think it is amazing to watch your favorite bands perform and being able to see what passion they have for music and what they do.

2. I think photography is one of the coolest things ever. I have always wanted to take a photography class and learn everything I can about it. I want to go everywhere in Europe, Australia, South America and Japan and do nothing but take pictures. There are so many beautiful places in this world and I want to see them all! I also love trying to take unique and random pictures. Everyone has a different way of looking at things and I love that about photography.

3.I have recently started collecting "Beatles" memorabilia. Whenever I go to a vintage store or some kind of music store, I always keep a look out for anything "Beatles". I just love that time period and the retro look and feel it has. I also love their music.  

4. I love the show FRIENDS. I pretty much quote something from it everyday because something will remind me of an episode. It is so funny and can always make me laugh. Me and my friends will watch it late at night and will laugh until we cry. Since I have moved to Utah I am starting to miss home but whenever I watch Friends it will always put me in a better mood. If you ever play "Friends Scene it" the game, lets just say you pretty much will want me on your team ha ha.

5. I was called to be 2nd counselor in one of my wards 2 relief society presidencies. Yes we have two relief societies because our ward is so big. When I first got this calling I was in shock and a little scared ha ha. I have never had this big of a calling and I felt like someone else would do a better job at it than me but so far it has been going really good. I would love any advice from anyone who has ever had this type of calling or anything to do with enrichment because this is a whole new game to me.

6.   I have an amazing family! My parents have been great examples of love, faith, hard work, service and fun! I look up to them and each one of my brothers and sisters. I am so thankful for the different relationships I have with each of them and even though we are not perfect I love them all. I miss you guys so much!

Happy Birthday Mom and Dad!!

Today is my Mamma's birthday and my Dad's was on the 13th so I thought I would do a post for both of them. I'm so thankful to have such amazing parents. They both are so loving, fun, smart, caring and extremely giving. They are such good examples to me and I love them! Wish I could be there. Miss you guys!

Cornbellys Halloween Festival

This weekend I went to Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point with Amy, Spencer and Hayden. There was a corn maze, hayrides, a mechanical bull and a haunted beast. The corn maze was designed in the shape of David Archuleta and after dark it becomes haunted. We ended up having a really good time :)

BYU Game

This weekend Chelsea and I went to the BYU homecoming game with our cousins Annie and Chrissy. I think it was about 45 degrees outside and we were freezing!! We had fun but I don't know if I'm gonna do that again anytime soon.

I love Fall

So the other day Amy, Spencer, Hayden, their friends Phil, Sommer and I went on a little trip up the canyon. The scenery was beautiful! Everyone has told me that fall is the best time to be up here and they are right. The trees are all starting to change colors and its already cold!! My roomates make fun of me because I've already busted out the sweatshirts and jackets. I can't believe I actually miss the AZ heat ha ha.
