[Paris]

Next on our Europe trip was the lovely Paris!! So have any of you been in another country and tried to speak the language only knowing a few words? This was a first time for me and it was frustrating but hilarious at the same time. Every time I would try to speak French they would talk back to me in English and make a face like you stupid American ha ha but at least I tried. While we were in Paris we went to the Palace of Versailles, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Disneyland Paris :) and of course the Eiffel Tower. While we were there, they were celebrating Bastille Day which is there Independence Day. Our group went on a boat tour on the Seine River while they had a fireworks show right next to the Eiffel Tower. It was amazing! Our hotel did not have an elevator and we were on the 5th floor with this tiny windy staircase. Our room was the smallest room I've ever been in and our bath tub was half the size of a regular bath tub. It had no curtain and only a hose. Needless to say it was interesting ha ha and just for the record, I think I could live off of crepes. They were soo good. My favorite was the nutella and banana crepes but the ham and cheese ones were really good too. After spending a few days in Paris we took an overnight train to Rome. There were 6 girls to a room and we were seriously like a can of sardines. Good thing we were all sleep deprived because everything was funnier and we didn't care at that point :) Anywho I absolutely loved Paris!!

[Back from Europe!!]

So remember how I went to Europe for 2 weeks? :) Chels and I are back and finally on normal time. Can I just say that I love America? Europe was amazing but they don't believe in air conditioning or cold drinks. Our hotels did not have air conditioning until Rome and it was humid and hot. Sounds fun huh? Anywho as you can imagine I took a lot of pictures and can't post them all on here, but if you are friends with me on facebook and care to look there are a lot of there. So first up was LONDON and I loved it as much as I loved it the first time I went with my family awhile ago. Some of my favorite things we saw there was Abbey Road. Watching people try to take the "walking across" pictures while cars are trying to pass was hilarious. Everyone looked like smiling robots ha ha but hey I was one of them. Another fav Big Ben and the London eye. We took a boat tour through the river and it was amazing. So here are some of my favorite pictures from London.. Enjoy!
